From what I read on the Corvette Forum, the owner - who wrecked it - picked it up from service, got away from him on the service access road, and he ran it into two parked trucks.
I believe someone even said they were pretty sure they saw the carcass for sale on Ebay for like $8K
I certainly hope the driver is OK, *however*, I swear they should make you pass a minimum IQ test before purchasing a high-performance vehicle...

Though I'd definitely agree it's more about common sense than any IQ metric (hint: "IQ Test" was just a joke...)
Hell, bad judgement on a *bicycle* will get you killed, so it's not like it even takes a "performance" vehicle for that matter
