Hey everyone,

I purchased my car in February. The dealer listed that it had Champion Motorsports exhaust, including headers, Champion Motorsports tune, and Champion wheels. The car spent it's whole life close to Champion Motorsports location in FL, so I never really thought twice about the mods.

I questioned if it really has a tune (I'll have Markski tune/retune it anyways) but never really worried about the exhaust since I love how it sounds and always assumed it is the Tubi Style exhaust sold by Champion Motorsports. I finally took a look at my exhaust today and I'm pretty sure it is not from Champion Motorsports.

I was only able to snap couple pics from under the car (I did not remove my rear bumper yet) but would anybody be able to tell which exhaust it is? Looks like straight pipe H design with cats only? Not sure what headers those are. I think it sounds great so I'm not too disappointed this isn't a Tubi Style exhaust.

I'll be doing plugs and coils soon so I'll have the bumper off for better pics. My guess is that Champion at one point made their own exhaust (I plan on emailing them), or I know Tubi went through a design change many years ago. It could be an old school Tubi?

The tips on this exhaust is the same as Turbo S. The left headers go directly to right side of exhaust, and right headers go directly to left side of exhaust. Only the H type design connecting them.

 

Those are magnaflow mufflers. It's a custom job. Don't have to worry about back pressure though!

 

If it were Tubi you'ld find "Tubi" stamped in a few places.

 

+1 on the custom exhaust with the 6x6 MagnaFlows in place of the cats TK style. Fabspeed headers 99%. If you like the sound you should be good to go!

 

I like the sound and no drone. Just annoyed about being lied to at this point. Not sure why it took me 2 months to get under the car to take a look at it. Not like it would have been a deal breaker but still...

At least is seems they did a decent job on the custom exhaust. V clamps and not bad welds.
