^^^ yea you guys are right...just been looking at some injector flow calculators out there and it seems like 72lb'ers might be the smallest I should be on with e85.

No more sniffer test in Colorado. They just hook up the OBDII and let it idle. To my knowledge you will NOT pass readiness without a SAI pump present due to readiness issues and that's not something you can code out

I just toggled the secondary 02 and SAI back on and will upload the map and drive the car to see if it trips any CELs. Not sure on the thresholds for failed readiness. Let's hope it's at least one.
Unless you have a RWD only car, better not have the car put on the "dyno" (aka rollers). Unless there are rollers for the front wheels that are driven by the rear wheel rollers the viscous coupling will suffer.

Before just the plug in test when I took my 2003 Turbo in for CA smog test the car was not put on the rollers the tech just did the tests, with a sniffer in an exhaust outlet, one test at 1500RPMS and a 2nd test at 2500RPMs.

E85 is super clean burning, in ca you can be catless and it would pass the snif test its so clean.

Well it looks like I'll need to reinstall the SAI as I received the P0410/P1411 code this morning. I'll re-install it and see if that clears the code and then should be ready for the emissions testing.

Not really worried about the actual sniffer test (which according to John they don't do anymore) but more the OBDII readiness test.

I *think* you can do a readiness test with the durametric too, that way it should tell you for sure if it will pass. I plan on trying it this weekend, Markski told me to check it out that way.

You can do a readiness check even with the Enthusiast version of Durametric.

Can yours do a 'readiness' check on mine Matt? Or do I need my own?

Are you able to force readiness with a Durametric?

The above smog test sounds like what they have in Cali , with one exception. The visual "tire" inspection.... I'm sure they don't want cars on the smow cover roads in the winter months. As for California, being that it doesn't really rain here. There's a bunch of cars with semi bald / worn tires running around that causes accidents during the winter months.

My 997T Passed my Emissions test running E85 with Cobb last year off 52nd and Marshall st.

No rollers but they did connect the exhaust to tubing. This may have been connected for exhaust fumes though. I have to state that the Staff spent more time taking photos in front of the car before it was even brought into the bay for testing. Little annoying.

I'm running 1000CC injectors but, i don't think this even matters. Just ask Cobb provide an emission passing tune/flash and your on your way.

Most emission facilities that cant get an accurate reading usually do an underbody mirror check for Cats though. Be sure to have them installed, even if they are hollowed out.
