What do you think of the future value of 996 turbo???
I bought mine for $42K 2 years ago and now it is worth a Million. To bad i can only sell it for about $42K. If you drive it ( i have put 30K on in 2 years) and it does not depreciate (much) it is the best you can hope for.
Similar story here. Bought my cabriolet on speculation 3 yrs ago for $45k. Now it's worth a million. Lol.
I truly believe they'll go up, it's just going to be a while... you'll probably fall in love with driving it more than the thrill of the investment. I think most on this forum would agree on that. It's a fantastic car. period.

Ehh... it will probably plateau for a while. I dont think they will go down in value, the proposition of the car and its abilities plus reliability make it hard for it to go below the low point of 35k I believe.
Whatever you bought it for years ago you can drive it without worry, put a ton of miles on and prob sell it for the same price.

^ lol, yea I feel the same way as s65, I've put 40k miles on the car in the few years I've owned it and aside from the maintenance money put into it I could pretty much break even on the car if I sold it (which I would never want to do, I love it).
If the Germans do go all electric cars as they promise/threat.....I'd could see the last of the analog type cars escalating. I'd rather put my odds on my long hoods for retirement than my water pumper turbos. I'm about equal weight, but my 71-73's has gone up 700% in 20 years. I never see my 6GT2 doing more than 2-300% by end of life.
