Coolant Pipes experience/replacement?

Pulling the engine to weld the coolant pipes. Anybody have experience with the Torque Solution pipes? Or is there an upgraded Porsche solution?
Thanks
Billy

I haven’t personally done it, but I will be doing it this winter with the BBI kit. You can buy it and have a local welder do it. Or send it to them and have them weld it/ pressure test it.

Ive been looking at the BBI & Torque Solutions product.
Its hard to glean anything significantly different between these two producers. Good news for me is I’m close to some aluminum machine shops that are NASA subs.

I have the TS and they are good. You need to re use the curved pipe though.

Pry really not any difference between the 2 since they’re just little pieces of pipe. I just liked the fact you can send your pieces into BBi for welding. Looks like you don’t have the issue of looking for a good welding shop though.

Indeed, I was confounded. I made them send me an extra pipe for free and I added a piece of hose to the line. I never realized until later that I was supposed to re use the curved one.

Porsche has stuck their head in the sand on this one - I guess as soon as the cars go out of warranty - some well out of warranty then it's not their problem. Unreasonable on their part to assume a glued in joint for an aluminum fitting that goes through heat cycles would be an effective engineering solution.
