Question about FVD exhaust
Question about FVD exhaust
As some of you guys know, I acquired an FVD exhaust from a fellow 6Speeder. I was wondering once the exhaust is installed, should the tips be sitting so low compared to the stock tips. It seems like it could be an inch closer to the bottom cutouts for the tips. Just wondering if this is the nature of this exhaust. Thanks.
Here is a pic of my tips with my FVD exhaust... They are only slightly lower, shouldn't be that much?? You can adjust the tips upward a bit, try loosening them and banging them up with a rubber mallet.

Evan

I liked my fabspeed.... but then I like loud cars.... I used to have other exotic exhausts on my ferrari and Lambo... like TUBI exhaust.... but for the money I think its great... then I wanted more so I kept the 100 cats and did custom pipes:

the above set up can now be bought from fabspeed. Just put on my car, fabspeed 100 cell cats and their straight pipe which accepted by factory tips. this was also half the price of a standard new exhaust, lighter, less backpressure, and more hp!!! Dont need to do your own "custom" pipe anymore.....Very loud and sounds awesome, but I too like loud cars!!
