xmas bonus in need of providing economic stimulus.
i have a 2003 996 turbo which i am slowly upgrading. i have done a few suspension upgrades, lowering springs, sway bars, and shock tower bar. I managed to get a larger intercooler which i installed.
so, i am asking advice on the next step.
suspension by getting a set of coilovers?
vs
up rated turbos.
advice????

oh yes. this is my daily driver. although the most frequent destination is my golf course, 3 mi away as i work from home.
i go to Watkins Glen 4 days a year and Millville 4-6 days a year.
the rest of the time is local driving. we use my wife's S6 to go anywhere else.

Well, in your first message you said you already had some suspension tweaks, so I would definitely go for more power (unless you feel like your suspension is 'giving up' because of wear and tear). Since you already have (GT2?) intercoolers, the car will respond well to a flash and possibly new turbos. Do not forget the DV while you're at it.
Even a basic flash (1K$) will transform your car, best bang for the buck.
I personally went with an FVD flash, zero clearance turbos, GT2 intercoolers and a Europipe exhaust. This combo works well for me, but I am sure there is other, even better stuff out there by now.
The extra power may accelerate the wear on your clutch, so keep some extra money for a Sachs 2.5 set-up also.

thank you for your insights.
upon advice of some of my driving buddies, who know my track style, they suggested that i focus on the suspension first. although it does not sway as badly as my C4S, it does flip around a bit at, for example, Turn 1 at Watkins Glen. They recommended that once i feel more secure in high speed turning, additional power will become useful.
thanks
