Tcu tuners??

Who can tune a tcu to be more aggressive for use with a Syvecs and ignition cut. I’m looking for something more aggressive then the standard box tip tcu tunes.

Any help with locating someone is appreciated.

Thanks!

I asked, they say they don’t do 996 turbo. Wish I could find a way to have the Syvecs recognize and work with a 997 tcu in the 996.

I forget the name of the Tuner, but there is a company in England that does it. Check this section. I hope you find what you are after!

surprised esmotors don't do the 996 TCU...
996 turbo TCU tune was avail from evoms...raised redline to 7k etc etc but not sure if they're in biz anymore.
markski also messes with the TCU but not sure on the details of what he calibrates

I’m still looking for a TCU tuner. Still no luck with the above mentioned.

Did you find out a tuner?

The 996 Turbo uses the EGS51 which by talking to tuners isnt tuneable very easily. It seems like the chip would need to be desoldered to get it tuned.

997 Turbo EGS52 however is a different story and can be tuned. On some of the Mercs it's possible to swap the EGS51 to a EGS52 but I wonder is someone have tested this with a 996 / 997?

Just a thought as nitrorocket is using a Syvecs. Why not use an aftermarket TCU controller. You can get the tiptronics shift as fast as PDK with an aftermarket controller.

Here's one option:
