I ordered a 996 steering wheel upgrade that was supposed to be shipped direct to me. They screwed the pooch and the manufacturer sent it to Vivid Racing instead of me. I sent 3 emails to different contacts in the company - no answer. I used the chat to ask what was going on. The reply was basically: "We're busy, we'll send it when we get to it." - then they disconnected the chat. Is this the type of after-purchase service you guys are seeing?

 

They used to be a sponsor here and were often the source of member complaints for poor communication and a lack of customer service. So much so I had a couple Margaritas when they went elsewhere. Sounds like things haven’t changed much.

 

Dispute the charge on your credit card.

 

That's my plan... I've already found another vendor for what I need...

 

i had a poor experience with them when i ordered my Precision Porsche Gt2 bumper. took forever, got the price wrong, poor communication, "i'll get you an update soon" that never happened... terrible
i eventually got a refund and went direct through Precision Porsche. 95% chance iw on;t buy through Vivid again

 

i also need a new wheel... who do you plan on going with?

 

Go to their social media and blast them online. They're known for pretty much selling china parts re-branded.

 

I paused for a sec because they gave me another tracking number... The wheel arrived Saturday. Of the 11 configuration items I selected, they got 4 right. Totally not what I ordered.

 

I was looking at DCT Motor sports. I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

 

Good experience overall, they do good work.
