996 TT suspension upgrade..need help!

Ok it s time for me to think about upgrading my suspensions...I have stock wheels..and my 2001 has a bunch of mods...closing in on 600HP....

Question One :

What suspensions? I know Motons a great..but is it necessary? Pss9? JRZ?
Help!

Question two : I am running with the OEM air box with a BMC filter....should i think of the EVO air box? from my research and asking arround it is 50 /50 some say it works some say it is not necessary and provides no improvements..
Once again I am looking forward to your inputs..

Depends on if you plan to track the car or not. If not you can get by with PSS9 as long as you don't lower the car too much.

If you plan to track Moton or KW v3 is the way to go.

IMHO JIC Cross is the next best thing after the Moton CS/ JRZ

If you can't do the Moton kit then JIC is the next best thing...

my JICs sucked. my. ***.

they felt great when i got the car, although the car 'pivoted' around. hard to explain unless you drove it.

the drop-links broke. twice. the 2nd time 2 weeks after replacing them.

a shock failed in the first 10k miles.

got motons now - couldn't be happier.

if sharky still has my JICs, i will sell them for $800+shipping. you will have to fix the broken shock.

I'm surprised to hear about your bad experience with JIC... I was gonna go that route. Is this common? Anyone else experience these failures?

My JRZ RSs are great!!! Highly recommended. Made for the track, but fully adjustable for street, track and everything in between.

This is why I like this site so much. When someone has a question, you'll get multiple replys and they're often very informative. It's always great to have a second opinion. If it wasn't for this site, I would not have visited Alex at Sharkwerks and had the GIAC flash. If I had seen this site first, I would have been more hesitant with the purchase of the Fabspeed GT2 exhaust. Oh well, you live and learn. Now I'm waiting for Alex to offer me a great deal on wheels.

I am at the same point with suspension, if money is no object I believe that the motons are the way to go for track.

Who has the JIC Cross on their car? I am looking at a pair and I have heard both good and bad about this system? Is this the reason they are redesigning their coilovers? For those who have these coilovers what else have you done to your suspension? Does Dan from Vivid still have these on any of his high perfomance cars? What about EVOMs?
