Question on Air Diffuser for Techart Bumper

Just curious, when you install a Techart bumper that has the air diffuser (slats on top part of bumper) where does the water run in the rain, etc.? Does it simply go over the radiator? I have never seen one installed so I'm curious.

I think the GT2 bumper has a duct of some sort that drain below the car.

Thanks,
Adam

I just installed the Techart bumper, and had no ducts to drain. Basically it just runs down on top of the aluminum bumper support and radiator. Looks like nothing to rust or be damaged by rain under there. Guess it is fine since with a stock bumper rain just flies into the front radiator housing and it still will get wet back there. Here is a link to when I did mine... https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=44095

Also if you do the install, make sure you spray paint the aluminum bumper support black. I skipped that step, and when I look into the slats, you can see the aluminum...not really a big deal actually...but wish I did spray paint it now.

M3CAB:

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I never know how this worked. Good tip on painting the aluminum support black. Thanks.

Are you planning on doing the install yourself? If so PM me, and I can give you some tips.

My advice is to have the bumper fit first, then painted, then installed. I had it done by my paint and body guy and it came out nice...but there were some tweeks needed!
