Take a ride in a 900hp+ Toyota Supra (video)
Here's a short video I shot while taking a ride in forum member AZBOOSTJUNKIE's Toyota Supra at our last event. Enjoy

This is a 3 liter engine! It was also a soft shift (2nd to 3rd) and the response time was right on for 'off throttle' shifting...Notice the next upshift (3rd to fourth) and how much quicker it spooled up!
VERY NICE....
oh memories..... I WANT MY POOPRA BACK!!!!!
Thanks for posting..

The car doesn't have to "spool" between gears, it's blitzing the 335/35/18 Pilots (see the tach going past 8K RPM's?) and I'm choosing to shift at a lower speed rather than feathering the throttle and getting the speed higher for the next gear. When the car has traction (tough in 1st, 2nd and usually 3rd on street tires) shifting in the 7200 RPM range (redline is set at 8K) keeps the boost up.

Thanks for posting that video Joe! That run was about 40 to 120 MPH at about ~770 RWHP, unfortunately traction limited.
No 1/4 mile times for this car, I ran a previous 6speed Supra with about 60 RWHP less than this one to a best ET of 10.41 and best MPH of 143.2 MPH on drag 17" drag radials (all boost), the pass after the 143 MPH pass I was going 2 MPH faster in the 1/8th but missed 4th gear, so that car had ~145+ MPH potential. Not bad for 3800 pounds raceweight
As far as cost, if you just want the HP type upgrade (no body kit, etc.) it can be done in the $10K to 12K range in parts (clutch, IC, fuel system, turbo kit, engine management, BOV, exhaust, DP, electronics, gauges) if you do your own installation. Otherwise it'll be at least another $5K in labor for installation.
Thanks for the compliments guys
