Aftermarket stereo ideas

Guys I want to put an aftermarket system in my 2003 Porsche. I dontwant anythong to crazy, but something that sounds good and looks good. Here is what I was thinking, please let me know the hottest brands for the a good price right now. I know nothing about stereo systems....

* New Deck - maybe an Alpine or Kenwood or whatever is the hot right now. I was possibly thinkig about a flip out monitor style if I can find the right price, if not just a regukar deck with Mp3, iPod interface, CD and a dusplay screen.

* Woofers - Either 2 10"s or 1 12". What are the some good Woofers on the market that are not going to kill me on price. Basically whats the best "bang for the buck". I was going to have a custom baox built so wehn the back seas ae down you can see the woofers and maybe the amps.

* Amp or Amps - I was thinking maybe a 500 wat mono for the woofer or maybe a 1000 wat dual amp for the whole system? Whats a good amp for the price

* New door speakers and tweeters - I was thinking Infinities? Again whats a good speaker for the price, something reasonably priced that sounds good!

If anyone has a system now in their porsche, please give me some feedback on what you have and how you like it. Also, how much you spent, I dont want some stereo store taking my $$$ becuase I dont know prices..

Please post some pics you have any of your system in a porsche.

Also is anyone is selling their system, please let me know.... I may take it off your hands!

Thanks guys in advance!

How do you listen to subs in a Porsche? Open the hood? Other than that behind the seat doesnt sound fun. Oh and just to keep you hip woofers are called subs now. I know there were a few people with systems when i first started to view 6speed, don't know if they hang around anymore except I think buddyg has some subs.
