Limp mode......again!
there is no way u can boost 1.3 bars on stock k16s.... guys would kill for that... get a pressure line hooked up to a manual guage.

1.3 Bar peak and 1.2 sustained on K16's??? This has been covered over and over and over again but not only efficiency on K-16's drop abruptly after 1.0 bar (it will blow hot air and its doing more harm than good) but you're also overreving (and overheating) the turbines with a clear risk shattering a turbine and you're cooking the sealants in the long run. Ask Kevin at Ultimate motorwerks he's a turbo guru and keep a good relationship with him as you'll need his services a lot...
Personally, with the RS Tuning 508kit I'm hitting 0.8/0.9bar sustained across the rev range with a very occasional 1.0 peak.

Hey its your coil packs 100%. I had the same problem and the GMG guys ran the Porsche diagnostic tool while I drove and isolated the number 3 and 4 coil pack and pulled those ****ers off and made the car perform like it should. call them, Fabryce.
If you think its water in your fuel, a little dry gas or a small amount of rubbing alchohol will put it in suspension so your tech can really get most of the water out. Otherwise it will settle and be difficult to remove all of it. If it were an Audi, I'd say screw it and run it out with dry gas....
not a good idea to run your fuel tank to dry, quick way to fry out your fuel pump. doesn't take long for the modern fuel pumps fry out when dry they rely on fuel and pressure to lubricate the internals. easier to just replace the air box first then unplug battery for 30 min and reset. I have seen this before, doesn't hurt to try it.

Had similar thing this weekend. Took it up to redline (maybe past) and the most I could get was .5 boost till I stopped and restarted then was getting the usual 1.0.............. Used to get 1.2-1.3 for extended periods after installing the EVO hoses then it dropped when I replaced the MAF (old hoses had a leak). Any thoughts Stage 2 chip, stock turbo's? new plugs

u in safety mode... and I dont think that normally happens from plugs... I had fowled plugs 3 times and never had that happen. just sputtered under boost at 5K rpms...
u should be getting 1 bar on a chip with stock ecu( max). not sure why u went with the air box... u didnt need it at this point. whast the point of pushing more air if ur turbos cant turn it around fast enough... just my opinion.... I rather would first start with a good set of turbos and a ecu and the work my way down the bolt ons.

EVO Stage ?, FVD PSS-9,FVD Sport Exhaust, EVO Intake, Hoses, Diverters, Strosek wing, GT-2 Front
Have had the EVO chip and diverters for 3 years................ didn't get 1.3 till I got the hoses which came after the airbox (had appx 1 yr). Boost dropped after the new MAF, had the safe mode happen this weekend. What triggers safe mode and why do u think I lost the 1.3 down to 1.0 after changing the MAF.... 2 seperate things
