We are very close to knowing the dates for the National Meet. This begs the question how many people are planning on doing the track event? I know it depends on the actual date but just off hand if you are coming please respond as to if you are going to do the track event or not.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Buddy:
Could you add to the poll for who would be intersted in the 2-day extreme driving class (~$500) if it is scheduled around the meet? Also, how about posting you office pictures? I'm real interested to see yours!

Buddy,
I just got off the phone with jcramair (John). We talked about many things with one of them being the meet. One of the things that is a concern is the tire issue. Many of us will be driving many miles to get there. I can't speak for others but I have thought about the risk of having a rear tire problem (Yoko 315/19's), or even front for that matter, and not having either a replacement tire or even a donut spare that will fit over my brakes. I suggested to John that we leave a spare 315 with a family member so that it can be Fedex'd in the case of a problem. Pushing the 19's on a track that is 800 miles away in consideration of this is my biggest concern.
So, I am officially on the fence.

I agree with you 100% Ken I must also say that I will be setting up my brother in law with a set of Front Yokos and Rear Yokos just in case. Excellent idea Ken and BTW your car looks insane. Your new nickname is Dark Vader.."I hope that is spelled correctly"
Thanks guys for modfying the poll.
I just held an indoor go kart racing event last night for my company outing. It was a blast! Three different qualifying heats and a final. The place is great, nice bar, good eq, ... an absolutely wonderful time. These are 35mph carts on slicks and if you don't brake, you spin. About $70 per guy. We might want to consider this. It was a blast (I got second according to their scoring but had the FTD and lowest average lap time).

Please try and get the dates out, I need time to arrange my schedule. Also, I am planning on transporting my car and flying out. If anyone can recommend a reliable transporter. Please let me know.
If anyone in Florida is planning on attending, PM me too see if we can get a better deal with the transporter.

What's the date?
I had no problem doing a few oval laps and a road course on the Gumball, not to mention 3300 miles of (hi-speed) highway driving. Drive the track at your own risk; be prepared! go for it!
