sharkster,
I would be interested since the header inlet is being enlarged, how it mates to the head exhaust port. Harmonic waves play a big part in relation to how the upper lip is treated.

Kevin,
What about the harmonic sound waves that return back up the exhaust and into the valves? There has been much study done on this. It is my understanding, the way to avoid this, and also gain some power is to leave a certain sized ledge on the top side of the exhaust port. It is my understanding a "perfect match" on all sides, to the gasket /head would result in this harmonic's problem. The "perfect match" does cost you some power.
