Do yourself a favor and pony up and get the HKS EVC. Well worth it. Had both, hell I have the Profec in a box here. Much more controllable & precise with HKS unit. If you are hell bent on getting the Greddy, I'll sell you mine.

ITS NOT just about turning the boost up.. how will the stock ecu handle the inc. in boost? will it adjust itself automatically, fuel, timing spark etc...

The greddy is required to controll the WGs- in this case... Todd K uses a differenet approach to tuning...( nothing to take away form the status quo).

no, the program he writes doesnt use the stock frequency solenoid... u actually disconnect it and hook up the greedy one( or any other one if u really must know)... and the boost is fully controllable based on the gas u have...
this is the standard in the turbo world.... I have a evo 8 running low 10s... with a greddy... we all in the turbo world run boost controllers,,, u have to have a way to controll the WGs. imagine having a 1000 HP supra but could only run a constant boost setting... doesnt make sense .. does it...

My friend, yes.... Todd is a tuner- he actually writes the programs....
he utilizes EBC on all of his applications...
Yes I wondered that myself... but it looks like most tuners sell pre made kits that do not require custom installation... this does.. u have to install a EBC...
what a difference .. what a difference...

does he have soemthing that i can just use an ebc & ecu reporgam w/o changing the turbos? as far as the stock turbo's are they running at full capacity already?

when i got the turbo i promised myself hp i wont be messing with it toomuch.. im actually happy with stockish hp level ( i maybe the only one on 6speed saying this heheh) but damn the need for more hp is kicking in..
i would probably wait after the warranty to do something like this..

no he doesnt mess with stock k16s... he says that they dont produce enough power... he works off of k24s based turbos....and makes custom hybrids...
