6speeders we have serious haters!!

I was checking the logs of my personal website and found this forum called rsxforum. I come across the story that Hani wrote up of Buddy and the trip to the tuner showdown. I can't begin to tell you how upsetting it is to see other car enthusiats be so jealous of all of us. I will let all of you read there little post. Make sure to read all of there pages. I think it would be wise if Ryan or Darren sent a PM to the board moderators over there. Here is the link :

Nasty link

There was some positive posts also...But some major Haters!!

nothing they wrote is particularly enfuriating to me. Most of them seem to just be envious. Nothing wrong with a car enthusiast being envious of people with nice cars. There are a few idiots of course but who cares?

I like the comment about Porsche Sausagers (Akin to Japanese Ricers)!!!

It looks like they are not digging Hani too much.
I also saw references to Jas and the Shank.

Overall, it looks pretty benign. That is unless they show up at Hani's house like they say!!!

Kinda Funny in a way. There are always people out there hating on someone or somthing. True that a few of the people on this site do have a little scril. But they have worked for what they have. I also started out looking up at the car stars, BMW, MER, F-Cars, Porsches.... I things just work out. Sites like this give you somthing to shoot for in life not only the cars, and houses but the overall lifestyle. And I am sure that there are a few RSX that will smoke all of our cars on the strip, but it is still a Honda.

The Nissan Skyline is a AWD 280bhp (hp is limited in Japan) sports/GT car. It's nothing special in stock form but the motor is easily upgraded (kinda like a Toyota Supra)to very high power. Here's some specs.

thats the juiciest response ever

Hani-
That is the most amazing response I have ever heard in my life. "my winter beater is a 360 spyder" That rocks!

We all are lucky to own what we do own, and it is a shame for people like this on rsx board to be as ignorant as they are. I am sure, even those that did not pay for their porsches, did do something to attain their car. For example, I did well in a standardized test, and some people got into medical school, law school, etc. Most people.

Anyways, I love this board and my winter beater is an Escalade....

you did well on a test and got a Porsche? Unreal. I'm afraid I'm on their side on that one.

This has to be my favorite quote

"Buddy taking care of business on the blackjack table. Funny thing, he took out $1500, lost it all. Then put in another $300, lost it. Then took a $100 from me and ended up winning $2500 at the end. So $600 profit, think the good luck came from me.

it'll take me 1 year to save $1500

This should explain the mentality of these people:
I can't believe with all that money, none of them would buy a Skyline!!
People with money don't buy skylines, that should tell you something about the skyline.

Who cares what a bunch of kids with hondas think anyway?

Nah... those guys don't mean any harm... they're just looking up to us.

But hey, once upon a time, some of us here were like that too. I know I coveted a Porsche since I was a kid, and my parents wouldn't get me one.

The ricer kids on the street always give me props, or thumbs up, or want to talk about my car. They are enthusiasts, just like us. So I think we should be gracious and embrace them, cause if they were wealthy, made a lot of money, or came from wealth, they'd be modding cars just like us.

Then again, I'm a ricer at heart. I love Japanese parts on my Turbo and I especially love my BLITZ blow off valves! Maybe that's why so many people here love to disagree with me.

Wilber built my car on principles he learned as an ex-street racer (way back in the day) and the import racing philosophy and guess what-- the **** works!

Hamann how are you running blow off valves? I thought with the way the turbo way designed you had to use bypass valves?

Some of them are enthusiasts, but most of the comments were not ones fellow enthusiasts would make. Their comments were more of hatred and envy than of sharing a common passion for cars.

sticky,

My car's plumbing is quite a bit different than other Turbos. Ask anyone who's seen under the hood. It takes revised plumbing, programming, and MAF manipulation.

Blow off valves are way cooler than those stinking DV's. The sound is way better too. And no leaking or honking...

I have a hard time believing those guys truly hate Hani or Buddy or Shank or anyone else. They're just talking **** and 'playa hating.' Look at some of those comments, almost all of them wish they could afford a Porsche Turbo.

Hatred is envy in its highest form

Hamann, so it's possible to make blow off valves work on a stock 911 turbo and have them work as well as the stock diverter vavles?
