I know that I have raced and beaten about 6 or 7 bikes in my GT700 in freeway runs (60-120). I've whooped every thing from R6s to GSXR 1000s. I have seen VR do it on tape. Not to start another war but I was reading another forum again and the guys with bikes swear that no car can beat them.

http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=148153

I know that a GSXR 1000 doesn't stand a chance against cars like Craig's, Scott's, Sharky's and some of our other High HP members.

Just curious what some of your crotch rocket racing experiences have been.

I've been known to bite off a few now and again some of them because of the car and others because of the rider but either way they shake their heads However, one time I got my *** beat to a pulp by a Hyabusa, Turbo.. and yes some Nitrous too. Holy ****.. that poor guy was doing everything he could to keep the nose down and would have whopped me even harder had be been able to control it. It was scarier than a French camp site toilet...

I've only raced a 600 so far. He didn't have a chance. I haven't gotten any of the bigger bikes to bite yet.....but I'll keep trying.

More than I recall. I also own an R1 and have raced my own bike. By 3rd gear I was several lengths ahead. No comparison.

I recently had a zx7 catch up to me in my 03 C2 as I was approching 155 mph. I promptly floored it as he came up to my window. As we reached 165 mph I slowly kept inching away from him as I went over 170 mph. Im not sure how much over exactly, I was concentrating too much on the road ahead and my mirrors. I slowed down to let him catch up to me again. As he came up to my window we were still going fast in the 140mph range. He took his hand off the the handlebars to give me a thumbs up. His arm jerked back from the wind resistance at that speed. It was scary for him Im sure because it certainly scared the crap out of me! I have gone 160 mph with my top down windows up before and it was turbulent!! I can only imagine what it feels like on a bike at that speed. Needless to say I'm sure he was impressed with the high top speed these cars can achieve. I am!!

Well i know i'll probably have a visitor saying BS about my stories although every race is true with witnesses (even though it was a friend in my car)

Was coming home from long beach saturday night here in NY, came across 3 bike's but didnt think anything of running them, havent ran one yet owning my turbo. Well One guy on a ninja kept looking at me and hitting it, he then gave me the thumbs up and did it back. So i start honking, he gets the jump and then almost instantly im walking past him from 60 mph in 3rd gear to the top of 4th by 140.. I ran him 3 times, then his face was priceless, i told my friend watch me eat his friend's bike LOL, just joking around. He pointed back and his friend came up, it was a GSXR 750 im 99% positive, and he took off before i reacted and it took a bit longer, but coming around a slight bend in the highway i was passing him with no problem and HARD! We did another run and same outcome, their faces were priceless i tell you..

I honestly think we need a Kills forum because I absolutely love coming on here at the end of the day and catching all of your stories. Keep them coming guys. I will add a story of my own as well, from a passengers point of view. around 12pm, Arcadia area, in a mustang with a few mods probably putting down around 400hp. Its late and were heading home, we come up to a light and a bike rolls up next to us, my side. I look over, its an old school GSXR 1200, box style body with what looks to be a straight exhaust, comes right out the side like a banshee or quad drag pipe. It looks like an older guy, with an OLD school helmet. Light turns green and we take off, bike is loud. We both pull away slow then my friend stays in second, and by this time the bike has short shifted to third, so he drops down to second as well. My friend honks tres times and this bike, I Sh#$ you not took of like a missile, I have never in all of the races and cruise nights I have been on to this day EVER seen anything take off like that. He lit the back tire up all the way down the street and was still pulling away. It was no contest for us. We came up to the light and I have him a big thumps up, and he did the same, and since were closer and next to each other at the light I can clearly see this is an older guy, I would guess in his 50's haha. By this time there is someone in front of us and him at this light, and he lets them get ahead, he drops a gear and does a burnout swerving between the two cars, unreal.

Hey I was at Long Beach on Saturday night too. If I saw your car, I would have noticed it for sure. Which bar/club were you at?

I don't know guys. I'm not saying it is impossible, but it very improbable that any of you can beat a properly set up "Busa." The acceleration on these bikes is mind numbing and face distorting.
I have been in many ultra high performance cars and none of them can compare.
A bone stock bike can turn sub 10 sec. 1/4 mi. times with 145 mph trap speeds.

A turbo "Busa" with a swingarm, shifter and a few other mods has incomprehensible acceleration with top speeds of 225 mph!

I don't know...I'll have to see it with my own eyes to believe any street legal car can out accelerate a properly set up turbo "Busa."

Take a look at this insane acceleration.....
