Europipe Bazooka..... OMFG!
I pickup up my car today after having my custom Europipe Bazooka installed. All I can say is OFMG is this thing cool! The sound is a VERY deep rumble, like a very pissed off Lion. From 1500 RPM to about 2500 RPM the growl is unbelievable. The sound is a truly evil and low rumble, as a result, I'm assuming, of the huge canisters and massive piping. The canisters are so big the mounting brackets have to be bent in towards the engine and the canisters are situated in a very slight "V" shape so they will fit behind the rear bumper. The piping between the CAT's and the muffler is a massive 84mm. New "Top Secret" 100 cell racing cats. Then the big, hand made and polished, dual triple ply stainless steel tips (70mm & 76mm)... ahhhh I'm in love!
From 2500/3000 up to redline, the sound is truly amazing. Again, overall pitch is quite low. I'm assuming after the Bazooka get's broken-in, more of the higher notes will emerge, as was the case with my EP2Loud.
The best part of the Bazooka... the burburburburble. It's sick! When shifting or cruising along at a low speed it's insane. Very different and MUCH more pronounced than the beautiful burble of the EP2L.
Here are a couple of quotes from Stef @ Europipe:
"It sounds like a Leopard Tank on 110 octane"
"X-low backpressure, louder at idle, insane on cold start, burbles like a 935"
Here are a few stats on a prior "Prototype" from Europipe, which had slightly smaller tubing and slightly more restrictive cats:
Backpressure
Stock 996 TT exhaust on a stock 996 TT at 6500 rpm is 0.36 bar
Europipe Stage 2 exhaust on a stock 996 TT at 6500 rpm is 0.15 bar
Europipe Prototype exhaust on a stock 996 TT at 6500 rpm is 0.080 bar
Airflow measured on a Superflow SF-600 @ 20" H2O
Stock exhaust: 221 cfm
EP Stage 2: 373 cfm
Open pipe - no cat - stock tailpipe: 422 cfm
New Europipe muffler: 588 cfm
It's very unfortunate Europipe will not be bringing this exhaust to a regular production cycle due to their busy schedule. I feel very fortunate that Stef & Herman managed to fit my special exhaust into their very busy schedule.
Sorry, but I can not post any pictures, as requested by Stef.

Congratulations Mike!!!
I do not understand how an exhaust system with cats and a chamber muffler can flow more air than straight pipes.
