6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list
Scott, do you remember what your top speed in 4th was in the Pcar and what RPM redline? Since I have been doing my 60-130's, I have been shifting at about 6500 or so figuring that I'm not making power after that. However, my 6.24 I shifted closer to 7000 or so. I always hit the limiter in 4th just to make sure and it appears I can do about 142 or 143 in 4th.
Okay...are you guys ready for this? I just got a file from Falco in Germany for a stock-internal'ed 996TT with modded K24s, injectors and RWD conversion running a 5.76 on a .39% decline with 1-shift!
Obviously I can't verify the actual mods on the car, but if it only has what's being claimed..it's a new record for a stock internal'ed 996.

Doesn't that seem a little quick for a car with just those mods? I'm not doubting, I'd just like to know some more details on the build. Falco?
Indeed, it sounds VERY quick for the mods. But...you never know. Falco assures me it's on stock internals, and he's a trustworthy guy.
He also said it was on pump fuel and street tires during the run:

His car is modified RWD, with K24 modded 48mm compressor wheels and bigger fuel injectors.
Custom mapping with regards to stock internals!
That car also does 17,3s for 100-300 kph, which is amazing for the 10k$ tune.
I am pretty sure, he will improve soon with new tires and some less weight.
Cheers,

I would not stake any promises on its longevity
He didn't say pump gas in that email, however I believe it can be done on pump. But street tires? The best I could do was a 6.61 on street tires, spinning AWD in cooler weather. I needed drag radials recently to go 6.24? Does RWD provide that much more performance? I'm not sayng I don't believe it, but...I might have to do a RWD conversion just to see??? What is a 48mm compressor wheel equate to also?
Yeah, I've seen his posts and the data from his runs - he knows his stuff. I'm a little confused by his post though. I thought that the A/R for stock K24s is 1.0 with a 48mm turbine. That would mean that it would also have a 48mm cold side. Unless I'm wrong (??), there's a lot more to this build than what he wrote above, especially as the runs were done on pump (although the juice they get over there in Europe is better quality than ours). Looking forward to some more info on it.

RWD will make you quicker, due to a decreased loss of power to the ground and less weight...but ya, doing it on street tires is pretty hard to fathom.
