Need opinions on Roock wing...

All-
I am looking to purchase a wing for my TT.
In concept, I like the Roock wing because it maintains the stock hydraullic system that raises and lowers it and speeds.

I would like to hear from others that own this or another wing to see how the fit, finish, and installation went. In addition, since it is significantly larger than the stock wing, I would imagine that it also generates significantly more downforce. Is this true? Does this necessitate the purchase of a front splitter/spoiler?

Thanks.

I had a client with the Roock wing on his '02 996tt. It definately looked great and I also liked the feature that it could continue to be hydraulicly lifted at speed. It made the car more aggressive while maintaining a stealth look to it. Install is fairly straight forward after you get the courage to unscrew the cylinder out of the wing. I am not sure about the downforce issue. Hope this helps.

The wing does look good. That would be kind of neat to keep the same hydraulic function as the stock wing, also does the RUF wing do the same thing as the Roock with the use of the stock hydraulics?

The Roock wing looks great. Be ready to wait for it though. Their customer service is pretty bad. Here is a picture:

I bought mine off of Shank, who received it right after it was ordered. As for quality, it was pretty good. While some sanding and smoothing was required prior to painting, it was not significant nor unusual.

You can see more pix on my website.

I like the Roock and like tyhe roock front lip even more...
BTW - techart and RUF both make rear wings/blades that add on the stock hydraulic lifters...
