GT2's are great, out of the box, however........after testing a European Delivery in White at the Nurburgring, we did perform a software substitute which was developed expressly for that particular model. Along with more agressive (sticky) tire/wheel package.....The GT2!!! took on a whole new complexion. Those of you familiar with this historic track will appreciate the drop in lap times after this minor change....try 12 seconds!! It felt like the afterburners were on.
Funny about the guys who would race on the streets....I raced for money around Central Park at night as a kid (very challenging course, I might add); took a lot of chances. I now know that it wasn't cool to put others in harm's way.
PCH has some stretches but....when flat out, you're using the whole road, including oncoming lane....Talk about vanishing point.
Knew two guys from North Jersey who ran some place "fixin" cars....wound up racing on the up 9W in a customer's turbo and killed several people including themselves! Not very cool....As one who has been on both sides of the coin-street/pro driver.....join a club and wail on that GT2 at the track. That's where the real fun is, without looking over your shoulder and getting arrested/car impounded. anyway..have funtakechancesDRIVEporsche-Mark
