I must admit I thought the pictures of the hamann kit for the turbo was tacky but when I saw it in person it was amazing. I saw a LApis Blue with Tan turbo full haman kit with hamann wheels ..I wish I had a camera.

I think Hamann is pretty out there with there body kits, but, I love some of their wheels. Are they heavy? I heard they were.

I love the rims for the turbo from Hamann, although they look exactly like the BMW rims

That's because they are exactly the same except for the size. They have the same ones for trucks as well.

the car was at Pfmodify in Brighton MA.. Really sick, had 8 piston brembo's, upgraded turbo's...the whole hamann program. I didnt care for the metalic window tint but the car was nasty.. very different.

Any websites with pics of the Turbo Kit? I am not sure if I ever saw the Hamann kit on a Turbo, I just know they are pretty out there with the BMW kits

Mike:

Interting sighting in Boston, especially with the cold and dreary weather we have been having lately. PF Modify seems to love their Hamann stuff, as that is what they put on every German car that is there. I will have to keep my eye out for it (I am sure it is hard not to miss).

You heard correctly, most if not all of their wheels are heavy. However, considering our cars are pigs to begin with, shouldnt make too much of a difference if adding another 30 lbs or so.

Regarding PF Modify, have any of you Boston people brought your cars to PF Modify for any work? I have heard mixed reviews about them.

never been there...I usually take all my body work to Invisible Touch, Mechanical work to the dealer, Autmotive Specialist or my tech (Bob Fitzgerald) who used to be head Porsche tech at CHambers for long but recently left them, Detailing to Autmotive Specialist (www.automotivespecialist.net)
