I finally lost a race in the GT2
One explanation is that the viper maybe losing traction at speed and during shifts (with these power levels, it's sometimes hard to gain traction), while the GT2 is hooking up.
..Otherwise, good runs.

Joe nice run. On the pkwy vipers are not as bad as$ you think. Fast but not always what you think. I have run supercharge , nitrous , and turbo and all in all the little 3.6 did good here in vegas 60 - 200 (700whp to 1000whp), never more then 3-4 cars up top and we are talking built tt's race gas you name it. I have pulled hard others and beat numerous ones. I think the p car is very underrated and we all forget its purpose, autoban cruiser!!!

BTW there was a thread on viperclub i posted on here several times, a guy with a crazy sc setup on his brand new coupe, saying his stg 3 x50 turbo was faster and his friends z06 whooped him
He was pissed!

Nice run Joe, that Viper is fast, and so is your damm GT2

It appears that you are referring to a 550hp 5lb Roe car. Roughly 800-1,000 hp short of the TT cars.

Nice vid, Joe!
Pakisho, I'm not even sure where RTV12 claimed his results to be accurate or that he would a) catch up or b) fall back more. So why are you putting such an implication in his post? He simply stated what they did, and what happened. Left the analysis for us to do, which apparently we all did differently.

Several factors why you didn't get spank so hard.
1. Viper can't get traction
2. Yes, maybe the gearing is better
3. His boost was turned down compared to a run on the strip
4. Aerodynamics
5. Weight Advantage
6. Its a Dodge

so two guys in the same car club raced.
one had a definitive power advantage and won by a small margain.
they agreed to race from 30-130.
one car was better suited for the parameters of the race due to gearing.
so...
what is the big deal?
the poster with the p-car laid out the facts of the story and conceeded a loss. it's a viper cheerleader who comes in and decides that the OP was an affront to all vipers in the world and therefore feels empowered to speak as if his viper blood-line was attacked.
pakisho, if the thread was childish like "i lost to a viper by only 1.5 car lengths but i should've beaten him by 40" then i understand your flaming nature, but i'm sure your analytical skills could be better served in other situations. also, don't be a bench racer and talk about how different races would have produced different outcomes, its as pointless as citing motor trend performance numbers.
I know I just wasted thirty seconds of my life on this.

I havent read here anywhere that it said anyone was bashing Vipers, those than can drive Porsche's those that wont/cant they drive Viper TT's.
Joe is not a novice at this sport and has great taste in cars and is a gentelman here as I am sure he is at the track and I consider him beneficial here and that is why so many people have posted in his defense.
He isnt the type to go on and keep this pointless argument going due to the simple fact he wont feed the hate.
Joe keep the videos and stories coming.
