Jesus christ there are more chapped asses in here than in the grand finale of Saving Ryans Privates.

All I said was that a 30 to 130mph run where a 131mph car is only a car or so behind a 150+mph car is absolute inanity, and wham! Morons jumping out of the woodwork acting like a bunch of retards on honda-tech claiming that a civic si can hang with a mclaren from a roll thanks to bloody vtec. What part of this is so hard to understand? 30 to 130 is a poor excuse for such high powered cars. ****, most of the people in here will hit 130mph getting onto the freeway. Its a misrepresentation of both cars abilities, what the hell is the problem here?

People don't want to accept the facts, Pakisho.

A 150+ mph trapping car will start to get traction at 130 mph, nevermind ending the race there. I ran neck and neck (almost) with a 750 rwhp TT Saleen Mustang to 110 mph due to his lack of traction. Came 120 once he got some traction and he blew by me like I was going in reverse. Point here? These high HP cars are very traction limited, and by the time they catch traction and are able to put the power to ground, the slower car could very much be ahead due to its better traction.

Bottom line? You have a 150 mph trap car vs. a 130 mph trap car. Give them both equal traction, what will happen? Think of a stock LT1 Camaro (101 mph trap car) vs. a stock 997 TT (121 mph trap car). What car is faster?

Good run, but don't fool yourself into thinking you truly have a car that is only 1-2 cars slower than a 150 mph car. But I think you know this.

BTW. Thanks for the rambling leading up to the quote above. Somehow you find a way to defend Pak****o before telling RTV12 that you think he knows that he can't 'beat' a car with a 150mph trap.

You and Pak****o are blinded. RTV12 made a simple post to discuss a friendly 30-130mph race - that he lost, mind you - and you guys partner-up to argue with the man. You and your buddy need to realize where the problem started in this thread (see below).

What the hell kind of magic gearing will allow you to make up a 20mph 1/4 trap speed difference, and where can I buy some? ****, if it was always that easy I shoulda never bothered trying to make my car fast in the first place.

30-130 in a 151mph car? He never got a chance to uncork it. Try a 50-200 run and you wont even be able to see his tail lights in the distance.

The MASSIVE INCREDIBLE gearing advantage of the GT2 that enables it to overcome 10mph trap speed differentials and even negate 20mph differentials was never mentioned ANYWHERE.

So let me ask you a question, this is for ANY car/drag car that traps that high and runs low times with perfect 60' at the dragstripm automatically means they are highway monsters too?

Not saying that the viper isnt, just that your logic is a bit mixed up! Viper's arent too great on highway pulls, they need the 1000hp too make up for the horrible gearing!
