If you want to put driving skills to the test I'm ready and willing any time.

tupperware with 900hp, thats cute. So what, you might clip a high 9?

I was talking about road courses, hence why I mentioned the ACR. Where are you located? I'd be more than willing to hotlap willow or T-hill against you in either of your cars if the $$ is right. Trust me, you probably don't want to go there though.

He is a hired professional driver, the cars capability with a professional was mind blowing, the car was INSANELY fast and handled like it was on rails, to say the least i was left astonished!

Thats the thing, most people are too scared to ever push one anywhere near the limit. They think they are going fast when in reality the car is @ 70% and barely working hard. When you get someone behind the wheel who knows how to handle it, damn. It takes a while to get comfortable throwing the car into a corner going that fast and know it's going to stick, but there is a benefit to having 315 width front tires

As I said they are not for everyone, and not nearly as comfortable as a 996 when being daily driven. But when you want a raw, nasty, scary fast car with no hand holding electronics it's the only way to go. And yes the only people who think they don't handle well are getting man handled by the car, in which case they shouldn't be behind the wheel in the first place.

I'm not gonna waist my time with you until you say something worth noting, if you dont have your own car, you go on the ignore list. I'm not bench racing, especially if you dont even have a car. Bring you a lightly modded Viper to Road course and see what happens.
I could have easily gotten a viper, hell, it would have been easier on the pocket book, but I decided to go with some that has more racing heritage. Viper's and their owners have a bad reputation on the track (with turns) and I'm not scared to push any car to the limits but there is a reason you dont see many vipers at track days.

When i went, it was a Viper/Aston Martin day, 20-30 Viper's from stock, na modded to supercharged were ripping it up, from old early 90 rt's to new srt coupes! They all took it easy, got a feel then went pretty fast with them. They were pretty impressive out there and their drivers too, yes i saw alot spin that day cause it was damp, but i also saw a Aston crash, 550 Maranello spin out and so on!
There was also Bob Carolls Viper Competition Coupe, that thing was RIDICULOUS and much of a handfull, he spun it lots of times!
I'll try and get some pics and videos up

HeavyChevy not pointing this towards you, you seem like you know your stuff and have a MONSTER on your hands, but Viper's really can handle in the right hands. As i said, my friend took me at 8/10's he said of his car's potential because he had a passenger, and the thing was beyond insanity! With the r compounds, he just threw the damm car into and out of corners even laying on the gas, when you think the tires would give they would hop or skip a little and just GRIP GRIP GRIP, it was ridiculous!
In fact my main reason for wanting another track car was to beat the new Z06 because the owners are cocky and it pisses me off. My Turbo vette started off headed towards a drag car but I started getting more into Road Racing so I switched directions. I'm now detuning it for Road Racing sessions. When I run a 10 sec 1/4 mile on street tires (non DR's) I'm fine with where my vette is, I dont like drag racing that much anyways.
I love the viper, but it's too much like the vette and I would still take a vette or porsche over it anyday for road racing.
As far as what I think or heard you can check Gary's site for yourself and see the 1700 hp viper in big letter, you can also read where it says he has something similar on the way. I have also been on viper alley checking the progress of his new ride. I dont know all the details but then again I havent tried to claim I do, I posted the little simple info that I have seen coming from the horses mouth. If that is wrong someone let me know.

I love these twin turbo Vipers ... I want one!
But the horsepower claims aren't backed up by the trap speed/raceweight. Not that it matters ... those trap speeds froma street car are just insane.
Bugger! I won't be able to get the idea out of my mind now!

I looked at a viper but I wanted something that likes to turn so I got a Porsche instead. Got a problem with that?

The owner of the Viper is Garth and he is a vegas local! Know him and the car very fast to be on point fastest in the world!! And the car has 1600 whp + nuts. but can't drive it! Gary's car is not even close! but i have owned a viper and they are cool but I think the tt is goin to be right there with it with in the next year. Marks car with almost 900 whp should be about equal to a viper pushing 1100. Areo has a big factor with that toy!
