Need help pulling 996TT ECU (Cabriolet)

I am going to help a friend "in need", and he is going to do

an Orton Motorsport ECU on his 996TT Cab.

How the hell do I get the Cab ECU out and what tools do I need.

(I did mine in my coupe in 10 minutes).

thanks in advance!

JWC is infamous around these parts
I looked and there is a how to step by step in the "Tech / How to" section. It is under "how to remove a ECU from a Cabriolet". Good luck Marty.

Isn't it located in the same place on a Cabriolet ? I dont think they would move it. I think it should be in the same place as on the coupe's.

It apears to be in the same general location but some differenrt thing you must do to remove it. Marty K is looking at the post as we type.

Thanks guys !

I printed it out and I can help my buddy tomorrow.

Nice concise write up with pics and the cab is much more difficult
especially if you dont want to rip the top in the process...
