Curious, how much for my TT?

Ok, Robert and I checked out the Murcielago and Gallardo last week in Beverly Hills. Robert is now trying to push me towards the Gallardo. I personally liked it even better in person. I would get the Murcielago but don't have the finances.

I know of a couple places where I can get one at MSRP, so lets say $190K.

If I were to sell my car what do you think I could realistically get. I am thinking $130K low and $150K high.

Some of you already know what I have done.

02 TT X50 16K miles: Artic Silver, Stage IV EVO, HRE Wheels, TechArt Kit, GT3 Seats, Tons of Interior mods, Fabspeed Loud Exhaust/straight pipes, and much much more.

thanks guys.

A clean stock 02 X50 with 16k miles wouldn't go for more than about 90-95k at the most in my neck of the woods. Are you assuming a buyer is going to basically reimburse you for every dollar you've spent on mods, or am I missing something? No disrespect ...

I live in CA so lets keep this dialogue to California pricing.

It's no disrespect limitup, it's simply a reality in certain parts of the country.

You can get a pristine low milage GT2 for the upper end of that price range in LA.

Fred, I would like to believe that the $130K area could be do-able. But as you now, you need that "right" buyer. If you decide to do it, best of luck and I look forward to a ride in the "L"

Trust me that if I can't sell my car for more than 130K I would not sell it. I am not going to sell it anyways right now as I was just curious. My car is already fully paid for so it would be a huge loss if I sold it. But then again if the right buyer comes along then I would THINK about it.

Oh I am doing Gumball if we can figure out the shipping details. If shipping is too much I will back out and do the BullRun instead.

Bullrun should be fun - has quite a long talk with David about it - more of an "enthusiasts" rally - the satisfaction of the Gumball was covering so much ground and having so much fun in so little time, with so little sleep!

Me too, I talked to David for about 45 minutes on it. 8 days, less driving, more partying. That sounds more reasonable ;-) My plan right now if financially feasable and work permits, is to then do BullRun with Cayenne while the TT coupe is coming back from France. How exhausted would I be !!

Nice Can you carry my luggage in the Cayenne? j/k!

That is a long trip in a sports car....a lambo would be fun...I love that murci...don't love the idea of maintaining it.

I would take a 2001 6.0 over a gallardo anyday, i think the 6.0 is the last real lambo without the audi influence. The interior is mostly carbon fiber, gorgeous looking car, and there about 160 for a mint used one, a lot cheaper then the murci and gallardo.

if you ask for 130, I think the "right" buyer I think you can make an easy sale for $120 if you milk the "this car was in EC magazine's 996 turbo shootout". I personally don't think it's worth "downgrading" from a fully modified 996 turbo to a bone stock Gallardo, but hey everybody loves life differently
