there must be a lot of margin in mufflers and turbos to build a facility like that

Looks like its being built in the shadow of the F1 circuit.

Looks like a very fast, straight road right in front their building. Going to be a lot of 200 mph fly bys.

Yup.

Of special note and significance is the ability to build RUF sport cars next door to an award winning Formula One racing circuit,” explained Alois Ruf. “The Bahrain International Circuit offers an unparalleled testing facility for our high performance sport cars,” added Ruf.

I still find it amazing that a tuner (and a porsche only tuner at that) has the capital to have a facility in Germany, the US, and then build a monstosity like this in the middle east. Compared to total porsche production, how many RUF vin cars can they sell in a year? What kind of net profits does a company like RUF make?

it helps when a member of the Bahrain royal family is a hardcore Ruf fanatic... and a business partner.

will be really interesting and exciting to see what kind of wild and wonderful creations will emerge from this facility. the middle east market is as we know, pretty speed crazy...

the test track inside the Ruf facility grounds is actually a scaled down version of the F1 track, which does happen to be next door.
