Is a 997S faster than a stock 996TT?

I'm saying no way. There is a guy in the 997 section that is convinced he beat on one on the highway of all places. I could see maybe a 0-60 run depending on the driver, but the TT's shine on the highway. I don't see how it's possible given the HP and torque advantages of the TT.
Anybody in So. Cal with a stock TT want to settle this?

I am with you, DD... I ran a 996TT back when I had my Evo and my Evo was MUCH faster than my 997S. I ran him pretty even which tells me that the TT would take a 997S.
I like my 997S because I like the NA engine a lot - in a perfect world, I'd have one turbo and one GT3. As it stands, I get my turbo kicks from my A3 for now.

I have a stock 996 tt and did a run from about 20 to 90mph against a 997S last month. I pulled him by about 4 car lengths. I'm looking forward to doing another run when i get my car flashed in the next few months (and later an exhaust.)
