2003 pcm nav question

Did they swicth over to DVD in 03? It looks like mine is still cd and of course its for the wrong region. What region does Porsche and navteq consider Chicago to be?

Not sure about your year but the manual for 2001 says it is CD 5 which is Midwest and Ohio valley

Figured it out. If you push main and trip it will tell you what type of system you have.

Our '04 TT Cab has DVD based nav. I just checked for you and Chicago is in the "East," which denotes basically the Eastern half of the Country. Hope that helps!

i'd like to know this as well.....i lived in West TX last year and the city was not even mapped out on the disc (Midland/Odessa, TX pop 200,000)

Yea it says I have version 3.0 must be cd.

Hmm, The cd I have says Map2: West & Central US @ Canada (software version 3.0 or higher)

It appears that I need the 1- Map 1A : Northeast & North Central U.S. & Canada. Disc # S0006-0061-408 / 08.2004

Anybody have this one?

Thats the number mine has. It says it is a cd has 540 MG of files
