Maxwell- I dont know the name of the shop. He just said the shop near by has a dyno and he has access to it.
Yeah nitrous scares me to.. Sure you'll stop.. That's what they all say..

Oh yea, and any locals are welcome to join as well.

Maxwell- Did you get new tires from Radial yet? I should be getting my DPE's mounted and balanced there this week.
Funktion is the shop where I took my CaymanS and they will be doing my JIC c/o's and short shift install next week on my TT. Good group of guys. I find Tim to be extremely knowledgable.

I havent spoke to Tim yet but Walid (shop owner) is very helpful. Have you ever raced a black opal stock looking CLK55?

No, I haven't. There is another current CaymanS owner that goes to Funktion that may have. His name is FT. I know he races it at Summit Point and VIR.

Tim is the shop manager. He appears to be pretty young but damn he's sharp. I believe he came from Curry's originally. I agree, Walid is extremely helpful and accomodating. He loves racing that Radical!!!

Best of luck and welcome to the club. As you know, the possibilities are almost endless. I'm probably not the only one who thinks referring to yourself in the third person is a bit odd, so maybe change that up. Either way, it's all good & good luck.

RedDevil, beautiful car! Thanks for the input! More mods to follow soon as I have had this "disease" for many years now!

See you on the board!

No problem, and good luck to you as well. The 996TT is SICK!

Track day is looking like its going to be April 3rd at MIR. If you wanna go make sure to pm me because space is limited to 16 cars. I might have to take money up front because one time I had 20 people listed as going and only 9 showed up and I ended up paying a few hundred dollars out of my pocket, NOT COOL!

+1 for both Walid and Tim. I just dropped my car off at Funktion last night for the first time

Hell, can I give +5?

blackbenzz, I'll be in touch. Any time you guys are doing anything at Funktion, I'm probably interested. It's pretty close and I enjoy talking to Walid immensely.
