Miles question
I think if you're going to put a lot of miles on the car, then you might as well go for it. If you're going to do alot of driving, you would probably lose more in the end by purchasing a vehicle with low miles.

That car has been around for many, many months. I think it's even been discussed here.. Maybe it has some stories?

beware of 01's w/ high miles - that's my advice for the day. on mine, which had low miles when i bought, everything and the kitchen sink has broke - it gets frustrating after awhile.
if i had to do it over again, i would get an 02 or above. no more 1st year cars for me of any brand.

Use it as a day driver and you will have fun. That's what I do with mine. I have only 30K but I put on 8K per year or so now. There was so guy who has over 200K with one of these. I don't think these cars need to be pampered. Best car I have ever owned so far.
That price is absolutely amazing. But beware...Being a Texas car, it wouldn't surprise me if it's a Katrina car that was imported to TX from either Louisiana or Mississippi. If not, then it's probably a salvage title. That being said, it would probably be the perfect car to turn into a GT700 or Proto monster so long as the car's straight.
