PSM button went through the dash !

Had the pleasurable experience to see my PSM button go through the dash last time I tried to disengage it. Is that a first or a common problem ? I might have been a bit hasty as it was between two turns at Thunderhill, but I did not expect build quality to be that bad. I guess there's no pulling the thing back in place without hours of labour ?

nah. takes few second to pop the horseshoe upper console piece. required little fine pulling. once removed u'll see how the button attaches to the piece. it snaps right in.

Porsche should have anticipated the extra adrenaline rush that results from disengaging it!

Thin butter knife and gentle pull will take it off to be snapped back in place.

Actually I find the PSM so erratic that the car tends to be more dangerous with PSM engaged than without it.
Glad to know it's not a time consuming affair, but will still gladly leave it to the dealer to break whatever fragile pins or ribs there is to break since the car is under warranty.
