996TT Stage 1 vs. Lamborgini Gallardo ?
A firend of mine with Gallardo is asking me to put our cars on the line. He wants to do 0-300km/h pulls.
His Gallardo is 520HP E-Gear with Larini Systems exhaust. My Porsche is 996TT (420HP) with Stage 1.
What are your opinions? Should I make any new upgrades to be sure that I'll win the race? Pehaps I should remove the AWD to reduce some weight and a new exhaust?

new exhaust and new diverter valves should be fine I think, ofcoors take rear spooler fuse out(if u are driving in safe place like airfield) it gives you more than 200kg weight pressure @300km/h, wipers and mirrors are also bad for speeds 100km/h+....escpecialy @300...and put tire pressure higher...something like 2.8-3bar

I have also K16-s, straight pipes, new chip, new diverter valves and 75hp nos shot....but 0-300km/h with 26sec is almoust Ferrari Enzo perfomance...no Gallardo w Larini can beat this

i dont know about the stage I car smoking the latter year gallardos. the early ones, yes, because they had crappy gearing. the new ones pull way better or so i hear.
