Will I regret selling the M?
wow...overwhelming response in favor for the TT.
I am not too worried about the better daily driver....my work is about 4 blocks aways...the only distance i drive is from Laguna to Newport to go to the gym every night.

I could very well see myself back in an M car (E46) at some time in the near future.

Send her my way- She'd never get lonely.

I don't own a 996tt, however, IMHO the best step from an m3 would be a gt3.
The TT is a very highly tunable monster capable of extreme power delivery.
On the other hand, the GT3 is a razor edge RWD corner carver, which is closer to the M3 experience (but obviously taken to the next level).

The 996TT is a true Supercar. Comparing M3 and 996TT is like comparing a cute college girl to a 6 foot supermodel.

Your M is damn nice buddy. Shouldn't have any problem selling her.
I previously owned 3 ///M cars. A heavily modded -S/C'd E46 M3, a bone stock E46 M3 ZCP, and a E39 M5 (second best car I ever owned)...and I don't miss them a bit. They just don't compare to the high-end 911's.

I do not miss it. Moved up from a 04 M3 to the TT about 2 yrs ago. I recently drove a e46 m3, first time in about 2 years, while it was enjoyable, it wasn't a TT.

Sorry man, I don't buy into the $$$$ thing. What you are comparing is a used 996tt to a used M3......$65K to a $40K car. Trust me, I love my 996tt but it ain't worth no where near $125K brand new. Realistically, I'd say the car was worth about $90k brand new.
I know the performance differences in the cars are not on par and the Pcar is leaps and bounds ahead of the stock M3..... but for $125K I think Porsche should be ashamed of the interior appointments they stuck in that car. Thank god, thats not why I bought it and why I bought one that was three years old. Take a look at an '05 or '06 M3 with cinnamon colored interior and compare it to an '01- 05 996tt. The M car blows it away.
