I am working with my paint guy now on this particular project. I have already run into the snag that he won't take the lights apart. I have to have my other lights guy do that first, send the items to be painted, and then back to the lights guy to get resealed. So far for unseal and seal is $100.00

I'm with you on that, I don't care for them IMO

When you get them done, let us know. I would be willing to send my lights out to whoever can handle the disassembly, reassembly and paint.
And to the guys who think it looks tacky, you can have your opinion........so there is no reason to even post in this thread.

ok, i got a guy that can do this. gos by the name of evodave on the evolutionm forum. he has done skylines, nsxs, supras, evos, stis, vws, audis, and no porsche yet but he is in the market to do it. his site is lightmods.net and trust me this guy knows what hes doin, he has done over 2000 sets now. here is his feedback on evom http://forums.evolutionm.net/itrader.php?u=9618 his thread is 55 pages long on just the evo headlight stuff. I been to his shop he has like a full paint shop and stuff just for these things. he is wanting to do mine, i dunno if i want mine blacked out though still thinking. but those of you that want it check him out, his cell is 330-801-3059. he even does color matching to car body.

My guy is buying a set of porsche headlights and is going to do it before he works on a customers porsche. He has done my infiniti, but has never done a porsche and just wants to confirm nothing is different in the process.
I think that it is a great idea, and very caring on part of the shop owner. I'll keep you posted.
