I am interested in this mod also...did evodave work out....damn its like as the world turns.
I included a picture of my lights...I tinted everything except where the actual beams hits the road. I could not find anyone local to do the paint on the inside for me, but would be willing to ship my lights out to evodave.
Please update....
Thanks

I think im getting mine done by him next week to be honest I just spoke with evodave on the phone. My car is down for some power mods at Switzer Performance Innovation anyways. He is talking about matching the tear drops to the paint so it makes the lights appear to as if they were more like a 997 light.

i'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Although BR looks good, I think I would be more interested in the inside housing being done as I wish to retain the shape of the light rather than a 997 look. I suppose it's trying to achieve a happy medium as you don't actually want to effect the beam. If someone could just get close the race car version, this would be great!
Light hindering film is a ridiculous idea. It doesn't even look that good, it ends up looking purplish.
Good luck with blacking out the housings, it'd probably look good. As already mentioned, you're almost definitely going to have to deal with moisture.

I have had my lights tinted for 2 years and there is absolutely no purple or moisture issues. If I have to replace the tint every 3 years or so it only takes about an hour for both lights.
