Ok, I think these covers look awesome, probably custom.
My client and good friend is the President of gt styling (GTS).
They manufacture all those bug shields. headlight covers, etc.
I was thinking of discussing the possibility of doing covers for our cars. Maybe even with those cool looking screws around the edge just like in the picture. The options would be open. Maybe we could all put our heads together and come up with a design that we feel would be optimum and run it by him. He's an AWESOME guy. Total car guy.

I would be into that...but pricing would have to be real world...like under 200 dollars, not 500 or 899. Thanks.

So $4k per car?? Or $2k per set?

They look hard to steal, if it was $2k total I'd get them just so I don't have to worry about parking my damn car around here.

covers only would be ok by me

Hi.

Covers only would be ok by me if cheap. 4k...not sure if I could justify that before turbos, wheels, tires, pss9, etc.

Nice though.

Why would you want covers when techart makes them? Are we talking about the kind of covers I used to have on my 86 Chevy Iroc? THose custom lights are hot and really update the look of the 996! I would be all over that for $1k-1500. $2k is kinda steep! Who actually makes them in case I change my mind.

Ok,...I'll go with you. Especially if I can sell my litronics on ebay for a good deal of money.

I did not think of the resale of our stockers! Good deal thats about 800-900(For stockers)? So it makes much more sense then! Maybe a group buy could get us there?

can someone post the particulars of those lights we're talking about?

Like exactly what they are and additional info?

I'm on it if it's realistic.

I spoke to Evodave and I am waiting until the warm weather is gone here on the east coast. He is definitely the guy to do this work, in my opinion. He has been doing these lights for many cars over the years and guarantees all his work. It takes about two weeks turn around time and will cost between $350 and $450 depending on how much time it takes him to get the lights apart.

He will take the lights apart and paint the inside of the housings any color you want. Then reseal the housings and ship the lights back to you.
