If I was in Dallas I would go check her out, but I'm here in Houston. If you find any down here I can try to stop by the dealerships and take a look.

The price seems pretty good on it.

Nice looking car, I just bought my 02 TT x50 for about $5k less with 30k miles. My car was loaded with options. I would want to know more about the options on the car, condtion of the car, shape of tires, who serviced the car, garaged?, and etc.. The 30k service will run you at least a 1k. Good luck.

At that price/mileage, I would also want to see the car loaded and mint condition with a clean service record and new tires. Nav, stainless steel door sills, leather or painted console, supple leather or preferably sport seats, that kind of stuff.

Get quite a bit of seat time if you are in the market for an x50. Power delivery is not to everyone's liking.

Thanks everyone, They will do a PPI for me at Park Place Porsche and I will again ask for your input and advice after I get the results.

I have only driven an X50 once (at most 5 miles) and I got a ticket test driving it. It must be the car for me. Needless to say, the seat time was mostly stopped, waiting for the ticket.

Are the wheels on that car oem? I thought the spokes had more of a rounded shape..

I'm not a fan of leased returned vehicles. Rich guys lease them and treat them like high priced hookers. Ridden hard and put away wet.

Techno wheels. Option code XRC. 1810$ list.
Kind of strange that they don't show a single picture of the interior.

Make sure the PPI includes a dump of the DME and all overrev data... and a prinit out of every service visit at any porsche dealer (tell them you don't want owner data just service/maintenance/warranty history.... They might squawk, but hats reasonable

I see your point and also was concerned. I am hoping that our cars can take that kind of abuse (better than other cars) and not too much abuse was done in 24 K miles. It would be nice to be able to talk to the previous owner.

You're right, they don't show a single picture of the interior.....they show about 15 of them.

Call D&M Leasing and see if they can give you any info about the original lease. Also, I'd be curious about a 2 owner lease in 4 years....seems weird to me.

Don't fall into that trap of thinking - plenty of damage can be done in much fewer miles. The PPI is your friend.

Ok I got the PPI back,
1- Rear tires are mismatched.
2- Broken trunck switch
3- Type 1 over revs = 5196
4- Type 2 over revs = 20
5- Several car alarms going on in past.
6- No signs of the car being(or has been) modified
7- Clean undercarriage. No damage or leaks.

Out of those, the tires and the type 2 concerns me. Is 20 for type 2 too many?

From my understanding they are the numbers of spark plug firings beyond the rev limiter. (ie mechanical over rev.) So it was over revved for a little over 3 revolutions? OR approximately .025 sec.

Eitherway, the importrant part is that it was used hard.

What do you guys think.
