The price of 996 turbo exhausts has kept me from that upgrade for a while... Ive done my lurking, homework and research...I guess its time I just break down and pony up. Where is the best deals for a Europipe 2 quiet to be had these days?

It's really hard to find a deal on europipe 2 quiet ... since it is so popular esp. among tip owners.

I was waiting for a while for a deal to turn up too but at the end I got a used AWE at a good price. I figured that if I don't like the AWE (drone or what not) I dont have much to lose.

Ron, I hope you like the AWE. I just bought a cab and I think an AWE is a little too loud for a cab, but I used to love the sound it made (especially in the tunnels).

 

I purchased the Europipe Loud first figuring I could trade to the quiet if it was too loud.
But the Euro loud is not loud at all (opinion).
My wife never mentioned anything either in regard to sound.

It sounds great and I used Kevin at UMW. Lots of information from him before I spent a dollar.

KING, how about some pics and stats/stories on the SC Viper??
any 1/4 mile or documented 60-130 mph runs or at least a embellished

Do you like the awe exhaust? Is it significantly louder than stock?

 

The idea of a $5000 exhaust has been on my mind the last week...regardless of how much money you have or dont have...its ALLOT of money for an exhaust. After many IM's, emails and doing some research, I decided to try the Fabspeed Gen 3, still allot of money but its allot more palatable. I took up Stephen/IA's group buy offer, although I havent decided wether to install myself or take a road trip to KS and pick out some more go fast(er) gooedies. Will post my impressions of the exhaust some time in Mid july.
