best,

It's actually equivalent to US 95.5 octane (102+89/2).

I'd be more than happy to run him on the same fuel, Adam. I make app. 730 to wheels at that octane level.

That would be an interesting race. Id hazard a guess and say that initially he would pull ahead, but then you would overtake him...

If only, would make one hell of a video

Gotta love when someone like DMK comes on to naysay a Ruf car because it costs more money to build . How much did you spend building your car?

The Ruf VIN cars (yes, I have one so the bias is obvious) cost more because they're handbuilt by Ruf with loads of options not available from Porsche. They also are known for being bulletproof - and my car with a lot more added UMW HP is still not sputtering at all. Are they "worth" what people pay for them, no...and that's why I didn't buy mine new .

Suppose it would be ignorant of me to assume (on this board) that there'd be unanimous congratulations of a kill as just that...a kill. Oh wait, no one had a hard time doing it with Craig's kill story..but it seems like any chance people have to pick apart a tuner...they will.

*edited* for politeness...

Ruf is number one. Period. Their IRC is awesome as well

Also, who knows what will happen to Techart? Heard it on the "strasse" that they have a €40 million lawsuit by Porsche on them, demanding them to pay their development fee. Directors are in custody. Anyone know anything more?

PS. Ruf was raided around 15 years ago, and was found all clear, I wonder hwo things like that can happen?

I would run that car w/ in a length or so on pump, right now.

When I am done w/ what I have planned I will be much faster than that car or the RT 12.

You're benchracing your car against an overseas video you know nothing about? Still waiting for your very first intelligent post....

I saw jamie lurking....I predicted that he would respond to my post w/ in 15 minutes (takes about that long for him to spell check).

I was off by 15. It seems I have my own personal 6speed fan club/nuthugger.

By the way...saw the Tx2k vid...Dude, smoking is a very nasty habit....yuck.

Back to Ruf....one thing is for sure, they have proven reliability. Many people are willing to pay a premium for that, no doubt. However, there is now way that the car posted would be a match for Scott or Marks car.

I've been voted by a group of 6speed peers to monitor your stupid posts and attempt to help you sound less like an idiot each time you log on. Trust me, I don't like this job, but it is a responsibility I was willing to accept to help better the 6speed community.

Regarding spell checking, let's compare punctuation on our posts over the past month. You will find nearly all your posts are edited at some point afterwards and still either make no sense and/or have numerous spelling errors.

Regarding your comment on Ruf, again, like all your posts, it makes no sense. First you have zero experience with Ruf Automobiles. Second, of course Mark and Scott's (and my old car) are much faster than the one in the video....they have a lot more horsepower. So please let us know your point of your last paragraph.

Just keeping things real Sean.

I must admit, until the trite (and massively overused) "keeping things real" comment, that response was much better than your typical carping. I especially like the part about the election being held on my behalf. Very flattering. I do find it a bit disturbing that you continuously review my past months posts, but hey, if cyber stalking me gets you through life, so be it.

Keep up the progress.

Back to Ruf: I have follwed Ruf for some time especially since Martin got his. The Ruf name certainly has cache, but Gustav exagerates, and Both Evo and Proto are making more powerful cars.

Also, Ruf has been in business since the 60´s. Alois is the man.
