Video: Supra 650 HP vs.RUF R Turbo 650
The Ruf IRC (Integrated Roll Cage) is a work of art. It takes a lot of man hours to put one in, especially on non Ruf VIN cars.
The interior is completely dismantled and the roll cage is completely welded to the body. Once the interior is put back together, the cage is basically invisible. The average person won't notice the difference between a car with the IRC and one without. Ruf only does the IRC installation in Pfaffenhausen by the way.
Here is a pic of a RTurbo w/ the IRC. Thank you Erik for the pics!

I have to put my two cents in again. I love RUF vehicles they make great cars but for my taste they are too expensive for what you get. Many of us have cars that can easily handle a RUF car at half the price. The new supercar they are building for $500,000.00! Please that is ridiculous!
And I agree with Gustav and Scott that RUF is number one in price!

I was off by 15. It seems I have my own personal 6speed fan club/nuthugger.
By the way...saw the Tx2k vid...Dude, smoking is a very nasty habit....yuck.
Back to Ruf....one thing is for sure, they have proven reliability. Many people are willing to pay a premium for that, no doubt. However, there is now way that the car posted would be a match for Scott or Marks car.

He had to let the revs drop to put it into the next gear and had trouble even getting it into third. But you wont hear that from Gustav
He claims the M6 beat a s/c viper because of "gearing" HAHAHAHAHA
