lowering springs to PSS9's

Has anyone gone from just lowering springs to coilovers

What is the difference in ride and handling?

I have H&R lowering springs and 19" HRE's and the car feels squirrly went I jump on it hard, I am just wondering if the coilovers will cure this

The alignment is perfect

Any input would be appreciated

Thanks

How u like your HRE's? Pics? Would love to see them. You went with 295 rears to save the lip, correct? How's that working out?

I had H&R springs on my 01 TT and have PSS-9s on my current 03...The springs were too stiff and ride was too rough. Also, the 01 sat too low for ****ty Boston roads...

I am pulling the H&R springs out and switching to PSS9's

The car rides too hard and sits too low in the rear and the 295's rub slightly on the left side even after lip rolling

Damn!! 295s rub even with fenders rolled??
I guess you have 4" lips right? I guess this is why I was recommended 3.5" max...

My 02 TT X-50, w/conti's is at the dealer now. They just installed the H&R springs iand I will pick up the car later this week. The phone reort I received was "awsome." I'll post my thoughts after I get the car back. Was there a point this past year when the H&R's weren't available because they were doing a "re-design?"

Did you go with H&R coilovers or just springs and are you running 19's?
