Two guys in the K24 car and one guy in the K16/24 car?
With the same amount of people, they probably would've been indentical in acceleration....possibly even giving the K24 car the advantage.
Thanks for posting the vid.

Yeah for a set of plain jane k16/24 all of the benefit would be gone by 60mph!
My hybrids are not stock and have more flow. That being said the biggest gain in hybrids is low speed spool up!

I thought that all K16/24 Hybrids were made by Kevin M. Are you positive that yours and the ones in the video (sold by Speed Gallery) are not the same ones?
When I bought my K16/24's at The Speed Gallery, the low clearance version was an upgrade option from a standard K16/24.
Speed Gallery does have another source for the K16/24 hybrid - mine were from the other source and were not Kevin's "zero clearance", but .003 clearance, which Speed Gallery touted as basically the same as a broken in pair of zero clearance, without the elaborate break-in procedure being neccessary. According to SG, stock clearance is approximately .009

I bought Zero clearance for my 993TT, my buddy had non zero clearance
(same car, same tune, same everything) and in THIS PARTICULAR case
the highly touted ZC made no difference/was not worth the money. Reason;
how can you measure the performance difference between the two as it is so
negligible. Dont get me wrong, Kevin is
a great turbo builder but he does not have a monopoly on turbo technology
or Great turbo chargers by any means. $ for $, I will take my Cheapo
K24/18G's...
My opinion only and is worth about 2 cents.

*Totally* different subject; but what do you mean? There are a couple AWD TT's that have trapped higher than 128. Are you talking in the 700 HP range and under?

Thanks, man.
FYI...I think Hamaan's car was using K24/18G's when he ran 10.7 @ 131 in the Euro Car shootout. I know his car was AWD. I'll have to check on the turbos to be sure, though...
