How would you rate their service, work, etc.

A couple of friends and I needed to have some audio/video/security work done, and we're looking for the best place in Long Island to do it.

If any of you have any other recommendations or know of places that I should stay away from, please let me know.

AI design is awesome except....EXPENSIVE!!!

 

They once did a remote radar install for me a ways back - well manour you get what you pay for.....

 

Ultra Sounds in Lynbrook, the best I've encountered and used. Speak to the owner John or the master installer Pete, great bunch of guys with dozens of trophies under their belt.

 

Darren you are 100% wrong....i have used audio designs for 16 years,and i have had nothing but good service there,and they have great installers there..pm me if you need info...Darren you never judge a book by its cover...remember that

 

Sorry Andy but if there cover car is a dogde you cant help but judge it any other way when it comes to working on your 100k + car ...... Tell them to get a new website - Shank perhaps ?

 

Guys, I used to live in the next town over from Audio Designs and live an hour from AI design.
I know both Audio Designs work and AI's work and think in is insulting to AI design to even make a comparison. Audio Designs is a good shop for regular type products. They are not even in the same ballpark as AI design. I have been to both on several occasions. I think AI does some of the best quality work in the United States regarding electronics. I don’t know about their suspensions and modifications but can say with 100 percent certainty that their work is on a different level in audio. I also love their leather work. They did a quilted subwoofer in porsche that blew my mind. The sub was rapped in quilted leather like the old Ferrari’s.

I must agree with MWILENS
- AI Design is a least two standard deviations above the norm.

They literally turn dreams into reality with flawless execution -- But it comes at a very, very high price. My buddy gets all of his work done there and recently dropped $30k on electronic and cosmetic upgrades to his Cayenne TT -- with stuff like solar panels, alcantara inserts, etc. See this link.
