i joined at the end of august, did the complete registration process and got email confirmation.... does anyone know how long it should take for my status to change to *registered* from *awaiting email confirmation*, i cannot reply to any of the posts in the thread to answer some of the other members questions. any help would be appreciated.

The wait can vary from 2 days to 4 weeks...depending on your background check.

 

I had this same problem:

what i did was cahnge emails then they sent me another email activation, and i clicked on the various links, and it was activated right away.

It took about a week for me to get on, and it won't let you use any web-based email addresses which is all I had. Luckily I tried my old email address from law school that just happened to still be active. Otherwise I would have been SOL.

 

Our new system is very efficient. Otherwise, for our guy in the FBI, it took him awhile to trace your IP, pin-point your location, position the satellite, take overhead pictures of your house, and calculate if you are a spider monkey breeder or not. And since you are not, you only see the regular forum...
