Need a new front bumper

Well my brother just backed into my car and cracked the front bumper, along with spiderwebbed the paint. What are my options for a new front bumper? I was thinking Aero front bumper but was wondering if there were any other choices. Thanks guys

Also if you could post how much they usually go for, that would be great

Well if you do the aerokit, or really any non std bumper make sure you get side skirts. It won't look right.

Also if you are going aerokit, try to go with OEM as they are flexable and don't crack as easy.

If you want, there are a lot of 3rd party bumpers out there that look cool that aren't aerokit copies.

An Aerokit I bumper (I noticed you have a 99) should be new about a grand, plus paint and install. A used one might be half that, but require more prep for paint.

Paint and prep should be from 400-800 bucks depending on the shop.

Going along with that, as he said if you go with an aftermarket part, make sure it is Polyurethane, I would stay away from fiberglass or FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastics). They aren't horrible but they tend to crack a lot easier.

Yeah see my brother is 17 and doesnt even have a real job. So i feel like a dick trying to make him pay. He makes it worse by tryign to say he can barely notice anything and said if it was his car he wouldnt care because u can barely see it. It is VERY apparent and I have had 3 others look at it and can easily see it from a distance. So he is makign this more difficult. If i want to upgrade I think I will just go get a few estimates, Take the lowest one. Have him pay me that and Ill bite the bullet and take over the rest of the cost. Its just such a hassle. Ill try and get pics up, you cant see it well in the pics but can tell its there.

I find myself wishing someone would bump my bumper so I could get a new one. I want that GT3 MKII!

Do the right thing, use this as an opportunity to upgrade.

What do you like? You've got a bunch of posts here so you've had plenty of chances to see examples of what people have done. Do you already have side skirts? If so you can match them. If you don't and cost is your overiding concern, then maybe you should just stay with stock. It will be your least expensive route. You don't seem too jazzed about getting a new look, which is OK.
