I have been looking and the cheapest I have seen litronic headlight kits for my 2000 carrera 996 is about $1500....have any of you seen any for less???

 

Nowadays, that's probably a pretty good deal for a new kit. Suncoast Porsche used to sell them for about $1300. But Porsche just raised the prices and the cost has pretty much doubled. $1500 gets you a new set of clear halogen headlights now.

You can always check ebay, where you should be able to pick up a used set for under a grand.

im selling my clear headlights for $800.

 

There was some guy on here selling them new for a very reasonable price. I believe it was probably a half to 3/4's of a year ago. If you search, you can ask him if he still has any available.

 

I just bought my Litronics from Suncoast for $1300 six days ago. They came with the stepper motors and I have a very detailed write up on the wiring. I just sold my clear halogens on Ebay for 625.00 and would tell you that $800 is a good deal as well considering the price hike this month with Porsche.

 

yeah i already have those clear halogens...so suncoast has those for 1300??? Everytime i look it is over 2 grand...I figured I could just resell the ones i have now and get a decent amount back

 

The litronics, along with my exhaust, are the two best mods I have done to the car. The litronics units themselves look amazing and the light output is wonderful.
